Day 22 of 24 Days of Thanks

If you've been following long, you know I'm a planner. Spontaneity isn't really my thing. Well, I take that back...I used to be spontaneous...back in the days when my social life demanded more attention than dirty diapers, girls that love to see the hour between 6 and 7 AM and when I wasn't ready for bed by 10 p.m.

But when some friends we met at our training class in April let us know they were on their way to Nashville via East Texas and could we do breakfast? Um, YES!! After all, the girls would be up :)

What's great about this is that their oldest and Mo became great friends while we were in Florida...so we  decided not to tell the girls and let it be a surprise this morning!

Today I'm thankful for...

-Spur of the moment breakfast meetings

-Lots of giggles with girls

-A boy that can occupy himself with an iPhone among said giggles

-Snuggles with an adorable 3 month old

-Encouragement from friends that know what we're going through
