Day 9 of 24 Days of Thanks

This morning the weather outside actually felt like November. The kids were wrapped up in jackets and the van got its first of many seat heater workouts. I'm thankful for this modern convenience that, before we had the van, I hadn't experienced before. Obviously, I could live without being warmed from top to bottom while the van heats up, but I'm thankful for this little perk in my chilly morning.

Some other things that I'm thankful for that make life a little easier...

-Microwaves
-Coffee pots
-Ice in the fridge door (One of my chores as a kid was to "break up the ice" with the ice trays...anybody with me?!)
-INTERNET and because of that we can have google, Skype, email...
-Devices of technology...mainly anything with an "i" in front of it! (oh and the Kindle!)
-Disposable diapers
-Dishwasher
-Washer and dryer

There are so many things that make life a little easier for us and it's easy to take them for granted. So today while you're reading this, thanks to the internet, with your re-heated cup of joe, while a load of clothes is washing and your iPod plays...what's a modern convenience you're thankful for?
