Just a quick update in case you hadn't heard...we're here!!
Last night we stayed with a friend's parents outside of Atlanta...a visit that was way too short, but we had to hit the road this morning. We arrived just in time this afternoon to get our i.d. and badges and housing info. When we pulled up to our apartment, two of the guys we had met at our training in Orlando and who are here for the same class we are, showed up and helped unload-YAY!!! D was on his bike within the hour with 3 boys he had met at Equip-another YAY!!
The kids did well on the trip...just anxious (like we were!) to get here and get somewhat settled.
Now it's quiet...very tired kids are asleep and some very tired parents are surrounded by boxes and need to do some homework. We're thankful for a great trip and anticipating class TOMORROW morning!
