On Monday and Wednesday mornings Mal goes to "school" (morning daycare) and we
walk dawdle, mosey and stop...all the way down the road about a block or so. Bless her two year old heart she must be Dora the Explorer's sister. Constantly intrigued, Mal picks up the rocks on the road, watches the cars drive by and on this particular morning, is quite sidetracked by the dandelions in full bloom.
Her mind isn't on the fact that she needs to get to school so mom can get back and homeschool her siblings. She's not concerned with getting paperwork turned in on time or what "the plan" is for the next six months.
No, Mal worries about whether or not she can stuff one more rock in her pocket, whether her fruit snacks are packed and how many dandelions she can blow along the way.

Finally on the right track |

Why yes I have two rocks in my pocket mom! |

Forget the rocks...there's a dandelion! |
Have you stopped long enough to blow the dandelions away today?
