It's Time

Wow.

Tonight we leave for Papua New Guinea.

Today is the day we've prayed for, looked forward with anticipation, yes stressed over at times and cried many a tear.

BUT...

We have felt a peace that can only come from Him in the midst of what should be chaos and craziness. We know so many of you have been praying for us through this time...thank you!

Some highlights over the last few days...

-A beautiful, thoughtful, powerful commissioning service at our sending church Sunday night. The outpouring of love by our church was completely overwhelming. We love our church and we are thrilled they are coming with us through their love, prayers and support.

-SNOW...AGAIN!!!! Yesterday morning we woke up to a winter wonderland! One last taste of cold and crazy Texas weather. Love it!

-We have 5 bins and 5 backpacks just shy of airline max capacity. Praying the scales at all of our stops agree with the scales here!

-And that ever growing "to do" list? Thankfully...it's almost blank!

If you're signed up for our prayer updates, we will try to update as much as possible!

And if you're not signed up?!?! Whatcha waiting for?? You can sign up on the right under "Sign Up To Receive Our Family Newsletter" and click on the box on the form for the prayer updates.

Thanks to everyone for your texts, calls and emails. We are immensely blessed to have you in our lives.  Pray today specifically for our families as we say good-bye. For smooth flights and travels. For REST tonight on our longest leg...to Brisbane, Australia...16 1/2 hours!

Hugs & Love from Texas one last time. Next time I blog it will Lord willing be from PNG!
