Sweet Treat Sadness

Good news, no, great news: I'm an aunt again for the 4th time as of this weekend!! :) Everyone is doing well and I'm thankful for another sweet niece!

The bad news: This same SIL who gave us a niece is no longer pregnant. Shouldn't this be a good thing you ask? Well, sure if you're her, but what about me?!

You see, my SIL and I have an understanding when it comes to sweet treats. We both love them. And if you've ever been pregnant, you know there are needs. Hers was a DQ blizzard and thanks to the local "Wildcat Card" you buy one, get one free. Why can't she just share with her husband? Well, we have nicknamed him Calorie Commando for obvious reasons in which the name implies. Combined with his brother, Personal Trainer, who just happens to be my husband, their combo is a healthy and fit pair. The fact that they look slim and trim is merely just a side note. I'm still baffled at how they got that way...

Sigh...

So you see, it's a very unfortunate place she and I now know. We were pregnant together for a short time and since Mal was born 4 1/2 months ago, I've merely been moral support for her. I felt someone needed to be there for her.

But now our days are numbered.

I'm pushing CC to at least let her have 6 weeks post baby before he starts in. There are hormones to deal with that only chocolate can cure.

Now I'm looking for a local pregnant friend. One of my best friends is pregnant with her third, but she lives in Mexico. I won't get to eat with her until July. And trust me, we WILL eat! But for now, what do I do? PT will not be happy I'm looking for a new sidekick :)
