Day 2 ...Better Late than Never!

Sorry this is delayed, but I was TIRED once we finally hit the bed last night.

Highlights from Day 2:

-Made it to Asheville, NC. Had a beautiful drive through the Smokey Mountains. Drove through 2 tunnels carved into a mountain so that satisfied the 6 year old.

-Watched it storm through our hotel window (Yes a highlight if you're 3 and on the 5th floor!)

-Found a super cool, super yummy pizza place, the Mellow Mushroom, in downtown Asheville for dinner.

-Had to help the indecisive 3 year old make up her mind about chocolate at a candy store. It's unfortunate that I am seeing myself in her more and more each day :) She settled on a chocolate covered marshmallow for inquiring minds...

-Tried to tame the 3 wild animals before going to bed. Yes, the 7 month old feeds off of them just as much as they love to entertain her!! :)

Day 3: Chimney Rock Park and then to our home away from home for the next 2 weeks: Waxhaw!
