Yes, Mr. Officer, that was me...on the side of the road...snapping a picture to put on my blog. Thanks for not stopping and asking!
We kept rolling on down the road and even my dashboard hula girl was excited about the milestone.
Why do I have a hula girl on my dashboard? It's kind of a long, detailed story, so I'll keep it to myself...
Just a week or two after 100,000 miles, I went to the grocery store only to come out and have a dead battery. It was only 104 that day, as opposed to 110, AND Jason was home and was able to come to my rescue. (This after he heard me describe what sounds the van was making...apparently I sounded very much like a dead battery.)
Thankfully, our sitter ,who lives down the road, was able to drop everything she was doing to watch the kids so Jason didn't have an audience (other than me!) This made for some very happy kids...they love Samantha.
The situation could have been worse...Wal-Mart parking lot...all three kids...110 degrees...Jason not home...I was very grateful how it all played out.
And yes, I did take a picture of him while he was working. It was hot and I didn't have much to do.
Our life works better if takes care of the maintenance and I stay his cheerleader, wrench holder and family photographer.
