Surreal

The last three weeks have been a whirlwind...a blur of activity and emotion to say the least. The things we've prayed that would happen are in full motion...

-We signed a contract on our house.

-Celebrated someone's 5th birthday with lots of purple...

-Started the process of moving out sentimental and necessary items, and gave away or sent everything else to the curb. (Our city sanitation workers earned their pay the last three weeks!)

Big Red is packed up waiting for the move in January
-Moved in with some amazingly sacrificial in-laws. I will now get to watch the rest of football season and my Sooners :) (Oh and have a place to live and food to eat...details, details...)

-Jason bid farewell to the regional airlines on September 29th. I would be lying if I didn't say there was a broad mix of emotion that day.

-Finally finished moving and cleaning!! Thank you is not adequate to every person that helped us...from bringing food...cleaning...packing...moving things out to the curb...watching our kids...picking up "your" item that you claimed :) We are so grateful to all of you that made this emotional, exhausting task easier. Thank you to those of you that have been praying and encouraging us along the way! There has been "a peace that passes all understanding". I can't explain it except that it's God hand in this.

-Someone turned 8!!
(Thanks Grammy for the surprise party!)
AND on the same day...

We closed on the house.

We are now officially jobless and homeless and truly thankful for it all!

The next chapter of this adventure begins...
