72 Hours Of Feasting

Because we're really "carpe diem-ing" this year...anticipating and praying that next year we're on the coast of PNG in our orientation course...we couldn't just have one Thanksgiving...not even two...we had to have three. In honor of 72 hours of deliciousness, good times and memories...some pictures:

There were fancy tables for big and little kids...

Fun tables...

Grilling...

LOTS AND LOTS OF FOOD...

Dressing up the real baby doll...

First time making pumpkin pie...and finding a recipe at the last minute! It was actually really good!

40 pounds of ice that lasted 3 days...

Fun with cousins and uncles...

Playing games with Nannie...

In an epic coincidence...my mom, my sister-in-law and myself all showed up in turquoise shirts!
(Sorry Sue! ;))

There were attempts at pictures with grandkids...

Cheesy photos on the iPhone...

Frying turkeys with boy scout like ingenuity...safety first...

4 wheeling in the wind and cold (makes an 8 year old boy extremely happy!)

The one thing we didn't get enough of was this...
(dollhouse left by the eldest girl...she gave up on her dozing daddy)

Hope your Thanksgiving was blessed and full of recounting your abundant blessings!

  1. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun, Jamie! What a way to celebrate your last Thanksgiving before PNG! You made some good memories for your kiddos (and you guys!) to hold you over until the next time you celebrate with family.

Praying these next weeks hold similar experiences and that you have a smooth transition to Waxhaw life. :)
