Day 12 of 24 Days of Thanks

Five years ago, our first daughter greeted us with bright blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair. Little did we know having a girl in the house would change everything...pink loads of laundry...hairbows that won't stay in growing curly locks...dolls...bears...dress up clothes...our world was turned upside down.


Sweet Mo is compassionate, "little Mama" to her baby sister, silly, creative, artistic and has quite the imagination.


Although I truly dread the teenage years and the drama that is sure to ensue, I pray that I can be the mom and example she needs in her life. I pray that I am the mom to her like my mom was (and still is!) to me.

Most of all, I pray she will grow up always knowing how much we love her but that her Heavenly Father loves her even more. I know He's got a plan for all this spunk and I can't wait to see how He uses her.
