Day 4 of 24 Days of Thanks

Today I'm thankful for the man the Lord prepared to be my husband over a dozen years ago.

-He puts God first in his life and continues to grow in his walk with the Lord. He has been and continues to be the spiritual leader this family needs.

-I have seen him grow into a father over the last 8 years. He can wrestle with his son, brush tangles out of a mess of orange curls, and kiss away the "owies" of our youngest.

-He loves to cook...anything and everything. I haven't made a pancake yet!

-He listens to me cry but can make me laugh til my stomach hurts.

-He is a wealth of useless random information. I don't suggest playing "Trivial Pursuit" against him, although it would be a great idea to have him on your team.

-He is a problem solver...broken van parts...broken airplanes...and sometimes girl drama. He'll find a way to fix most anything (though most times he leaves the girl drama alone :))

I am so thankful for the husband I have and for the man he continues to become.
