I Caved

Being outnumbered as I am, sometimes I cave into things...like watching the airplanes fly at the airport.

I know. I said we wouldn't, but...

Tuesday morning, there was a literal buzz of activity around here. Gorgeous skies and little wind made perfect flying conditions for the pilots in training. Planes were going rounds in the pattern, helicopters landed across the street in the RC airplane field...the sound of running aircraft engines was almost too much to bear for my eight year old!

So we set out to the playground up by the runway. I told them we wouldn't stay long.

As the planes started to land and park, we started to see and figure out which "dad" had come in from their flight. Everyone's dad except ours was to be seen.

Oh well, we'll wait another day...until...

D heard another plane so we stopped, looked up and it was the other 206! Needless to say we had to watch the landing and I'm so glad we did because it was Jason!

Not the best pic, but all I had was my phone and
wanted to get a shot of him coming in...

Just a few hundred yards from us!

Sometimes it's worth caving.
