HIS Head in the Clouds

This fella is hard at work planning his first flight in the 206 tomorrow morning. He's so busy he has no idea I've snapped this picture and posting it for all to see. Fabulous! (I love my job!)

He's been hard at work the last two weeks in the classroom, hitting the books at night learning about procedures, maintenance and a whole lotta other stuff that this non-aviation brain doesn't comprehend. I'm the communications director, not a pilot!

He's excited to get back in a plane. He hasn't flown much since his last day at AE in September.

He's also probably a bit nervous being in a new aircraft.

I'm excited for him and not nervous. He's a great pilot.

His kids are excited too. They're already begging to watch him through the fence on the other side of the runway.

I told them we'll wait a few days.

Mo then suggested we do a picnic (sandwiches to be specific per her request) by the runway and watch him fly.

I told them we'll wait a few days.

Something that we WILL do and NOT wait a few days...praying for him tomorrow morning.

Will you join us in praying for some things?

*Peace for Jason as he starts this aspect of training. He'll fly most days (weather permitting) now until June 21st.

*Safety as he and his instructor take to the skies

*And speaking of skies...pray for clear, blue, sunny skies (I believe in praying specifics!)

Thanks for praying for him. I know he'd appreciate.
