I've found it difficult to articulate past this blinking cursor lately. So much is happening, but really, there's not much to say about any of it.
Does that even make sense?
I'll try to explain.
There's an anticipation building within us. The Lord has been faithful. The way He has moved to bring our ministry team together in the last month...the last two weeks...is truly awesome.
But...He's not done yet. We're SO close, but SO far away in the same breath.
We are on the cusp of buying plane tickets for a one way flight in mid-January. Just **this** close to finalizing details and sorting through the remainder of our current life in the States.
But...not...yet.
I tell Jason we're in the calm before the storm.
He calls it the giant mountain we have to get over.
This journey is a marathon...not a sprint.
Whatever analogy about waiting you want to use, we're there. We're more than ready to see how the Lord closes this chapter of the story and guides us to the beginning of a new one.
The list of "things to get done before we leave" grows, we have trouble imagining our family being on a flight across the ocean come mid-January.
Will we finally get to meet these people that we've been praying for...face to face?
Will He be able to use us...such broken, messed up people...once we get there?
So we're still waiting...praying...and believing His timing and plans are perfect.
Always.
