A Few Pics

I'm learning my way through the process of not having high speed internet and watching my megabytes or whatever they're called. Maybe I haven't learned as much as I think-ha!

So here are a few pictures...although I could spend all night uploading pics because PNG is so beautiful!

I thought it was funny Jason took a pic of the in-flight screen of our flight.
The flight to Brisbane alone was over 8,000 miles!!

After several days and thousand of miles of traveling, we stayed in Madang (on the coast) one night.
The kids were waiting for dinner and I couldn't pass up this shot. I can't tell you how proud I am of the adventurous spirit the Lord has placed in them thus far. They are being just as stretched and are learning just as much as we are.  Yes, we've all had our moments, but they have been amazing.
I had kitchen duty Saturday morning. When I walked outside there was a great view of the sunrise!
I ran back into our place and grabbed my camera just to see if I could capture the moment.
Living 1200 feet up has its advantages!

There are so many "exotic" flowers.
We've seen orchids growing wild and hibiscus are everywhere...red, yellow, white, pink and this coral color.
I mentioned in my last post the array of bananas. Jason took this pic as a comparison to show
how small some of the bananas are! So fun and perfect size for Mal who eats at least one a day!

Will try to upload more pics soon. For now...gotta hit the books and learn this language! (Tomorrow we head to the local outdoor market with our Tok Pisin teacher (tisa)!)
