We started off the week by receiving a package from my parents--thank you mom and dad for the smiles and squeals seen and heard here!!
The 4th Kodiak arrived Tuesday! Jason, of course, was already out at the airport and I was at a meeting at the airport that coincided with the time of the new plane’s arrival-yay! This plane is a story of God’s provision, use of His people and their resources and timing as this plane comes almost 2 years earlier than expected. We anticipate awesome things as she helps further Bible translation in the days ahead.
The new pilot (and eh hem...his wife) with the new plane...
Another God sized miracle happened to my friend Lindsey. Lindsey messed up her knee two days before orientation was finished. We moved here and in just a few weeks she left for surgery on what she thought would be her ACL. The MRI said the ACL, the doctor said it was her ACL, but when they went in for surgery? Her ACL was fine! Her knee cap was a little chipped and so they cleaned it up while they were inside, but other than that...she is doing well! A true testimony of God’s healing power. She will return next week and in the coming months look at allocating into a village to start a translation project.
How's your thankful Thursday shaping up?
