Happy Birthday America

How do you celebrate the 4th of July on the other side of the world? 

Pretty similar to what we'd do normally...without the ice cream!

We got together with friends, grilled something similar to a hot dog and made our own fireworks..out of steel wool, a flame and a hanger!

Almost everyone decked out in their red, white and blue.
Someone thought pink would be appropriate for the day!
(She's always been one to have her own opinion!)

I got talked in to trying my hand at spinning a ball of flaming steel wool!
Wasn't sure I could do it, but...
After a few more tries...
I GOT IT!
