No-Shave November

Back in October, one of the pilots suggested that the helicopter and fixed wing pilots participate in "No-Shave November". I think in the US it's traditionally to promote prostate cancer awareness, but the guys here used it as an opportunity to build some team camaraderie and do something different. Most of these guys keep a clean shaven look or at least a nice goatee...not some scrawny, bushy stuff on their faces...so this was going to be a challenge.

November 1 Jason started out looking like this. And no, it wasn't "No-Shave November" for the top of his head! I draw the line somewhere.

This was a week later. He's NOT thrilled that this also became "my wife takes a picture of my face every time I turn around-month".

Half way through the month and done with the crazy itchy phase...still smiling!

Here are the guys on Monday the 30th! At least 3 of them promptly returned to their clean shaven ways after this pictured. Their wives didn't love the scruff.

But...Jason still has his! We'll see how long it lasts. His oldest daughter might be the cause of the razor coming out of the cabinet again. She's not exactly thrilled with this new look on her beloved daddy's face!
