Raleigh-By the Numbers

Right now I'm in Raleigh with one of my best friends, Heather, from college. We had to take advantage of actually being in the same state seeing as how we haven't seen each other in 10 years!!

So much has changed, but so much has stayed the same. It's an understatement to say we're having a good time, but the things that have changed are mostly the 6 kids running around as we try to carry on a conversation!

A bit of a breakdown by the numbers:

*6 kids, 3 adults when her hubby is home.

* 1 baby, 3 squealy preschool girls and 2 1st grade boys who's mission is to make the said girls live up to their name

*4 girls, 2 boys...even with another male, add the mom's - the boys are still outnumbered! (They know this because they've discussed this!)

*5 kids (one was at school), 2 VERY tired mommy's (because we stayed up a little too late!) at the children's museum. At least we came home with all 5 that we took with us-no more, no less!

*2 Morgan's: we were pregnant at the same time, ended up deciding on the same name w/o talking to one another about it and figured no harm done b/c we would NEVER end up under the same roof with ALL of us together. Moral of this story: Never say never. Those 2 girls are so confused every time they hear their name it's hilarious!

*6 kids having a ton of fun, 2 mommy's catching up on the last 10 years and 1 husband who just shakes his head and laughs at the whole scene going down in his house equals some pretty great times and that's just day 1!
