Day 20 of 25

Today I'm thankful for celebrations. I've always loved birthday parties, surprises (for me and others :)) "get togethers" and hanging out for no particular reason at all. Yes, I'd consider that a celebration! :)

Today we were able to celebrate not only life, but death as well.

This afternoon we celebrated the life of a friend who impacted so many. We're celebrating because today he is with Jesus. Today we remember that the Lord is control and our lives here on earth are but a vapor. Today we remember that there is HOPE if we know the Savior.

Then tonight we celebrated J's grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. What a blessing to have them here and still committed to each other! Long-time friends, grandkids and all the great-grandkids were in attendance. It was quite the gaggle, full of laughs and a few tears. So thankful to be a part of the Brewer fam! So thankful to be a part of a day where life and death are cause for celebration.
