So what are we doing until we leave for PNG??
Today-December 2011: For the next 5 months we are in full Partnership Development mode. We will be talking to individuals and visiting churches sharing with them our role in Bible translation. We are praying that the Lord would put us in contact with people who are willing to partner with us financially on a monthly basis. We are also encouraging people to be a part of our prayer team.
January 20-June 22: Lord willing, if we are able to raise 90% of our monthly support by the end of December, we will travel to Waxhaw, North Carolina and the JAARS center for more training. The first four weeks will be an Intercultural Communication Course that both Jason and I will attend. Jason will have a two week break and then begin aviation orientation the first week of March until June 22.
June 23-August ???-We will, I'm assuming, head back to Texas to make final preparations to leave for PNG. I don't have a date of when POC begins, but I'm assuming some time mid to late August. More on this as details become available.
This next year will FLY by, but we are excited to see how the Lord unfolds His plan, one day at a time.
