Her Dream Date

Last Saturday a local organization had a fundraiser Father/Daughter Dance. Our sister-in-law is a part of this organization and said that her hubs was going with our oldest sweet niece and maybe J and Mo could go too.

So the plans were put into place and for 2 weeks all Mo could talk about was "I'm going to a dance party with my daddy! Not Mal, not mommy, just me!"

Then the weather hit...again.

Would he make it home in time for the big dance?

We prayed and prayed that the Lord would pave the way to get daddy home and you know what? He answered those sweet prayers of the most excited 4 year old.

Mo loves her daddy something fierce. She knows she can run to him with any hurt or problem and he's going to do his best to fix it. He is her hero. She is one of his biggest fans.

My prayer is that as she gets older she'll realize she's got a Heavenly Father that loves her even more than her earthly daddy. It's an overwhelming thought as I look at these two.
